New Property at Turtle Bay, Brazil
Wednesday 23rd of July 2008
The Discovery Coast in Bahia State, Brazil is seeing a number of new off-plan developments and infrastructure plans that are driving international investment in this up and coming destination. Turtle Bay Beach and Golf Resort is one new development that is set to draw plenty of international and Brazilian Property buyers to this beautiful area of northeast Brazil.
Turtle Bay Resort is located just outside the small town of Belmonte, which is the former capital of cocoa producers in Brazil. It is set on 80 hectares of land and will be a mix of eco-friendly development and luxury resort. It has direct access to the beach and there will be 2-hour security. A 9-hole golf course is planned for this dynamic new resort that will contain a small boutique hotel and spa as well as a large social area.
There will be a choice of 3 villa models and there will be 3 options for each model type depending on the size of the plot and the orientation. The plots are located throughout the property with different views and settings. There are beachfront properties and plots with golf course views to those overlooking lagoons and the equestrian center. Each home will have beautiful terraces and luxuriant gardens for day and night enjoyment of this beautiful area.
The Discovery Coast is 90 kilometers of seafront in Bahia that starts north of Porto Seguro and runs to the north of Belmonte. The town of Belmonte, population 22,000, is about 45 kilometers north of Porto Seguro. It has long been popular with eco travelers, and the government seeks to retain the natural feel and preserve the area, limiting developments to specific areas and to minimize damage to the environment. Porto Seguro currently has a small international airport and is developing plans for a major new airport.
